U.S. Might Is Not a Cure-all: Russian Paper
Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) -- The Russian paper Komsomolskaya Pravda Vladivostok on June 24 carried an article titled "Lesson from Korean War, U.S. Might Is Not a Cure-all" illustrated with a picture of service personnel of the Korean People's Army celebrating the victory of the Fatherland Liberation War on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.

The article said:

June 25, 65 years ago, was the day the U.S. ignited a war against the young DPRK.

The U.S. introduced huge armed forces in the Korean peninsula and its vicinity and hurled the south Korean puppet army as a shock brigade and bullet-shield.

No military and technical superiority of the U.S. could match the might of the army and people of the DPRK who turned out as one, aware of the justice of their own cause.

The DPRK has steadily strengthened its capability for self-defence in every way and had access to nuclear deterrence to cope with the U.S. nuclear threat.

Should the U.S. provoke a new war on the Korean peninsula, its mainland will be engulfed in flames.
