S. Korean Authorities' Unreasonable Suppression Protested
Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) -- Members of south Korean civic organizations made public a joint statement on June 29 in protest against the unreasonable suppression by the puppet authorities.

The statement said that the security authorities detained Pak Chang Suk, member of an organization, on June 25 on charges of sharing north-related news on website.

The suppression of the April 16 Solidarity and the detention of Pak are a prelude to a wholesale rule under the pretext of security, it noted.

It branded the Park Geun Hye regime as the worst regime suppressing the activities for reunification and abusing human rights as it is prolonging its days by invoking the "Security Law."

It urged the Park Geun Hye regime to repeal at once the "Security Law", and immediately release Pak Chang Suk.
