Present there were officials of Pyongyang City Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, youth and students in Pyongyang, members of the above-said touring group led by Yevgeni Lashenko, first secretary of the Maritime Territorial Regional Committee of the Lenin Young Communist League of the Russian Federation.

Yevgeni Lashenko referred to his fresh experience of the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu on Mt. Paektu.

He said he thought Mt. Paektu was a holy land of revolution not only to the Korean people but to the world progressive people.

He concluded that the young people of the two countries would cherish the revolutionary spirit of Paektu in their minds and wage a joint struggle against the imperialism.

The participants in the meeting enjoyed a performance given by the art squad of the Central Committee of the youth league.
