Speakers recalled that nearly 400 000 people took part in the signature campaign from June 16 in demand of the probe into the truth behind the ferry disaster, revision of enforcement ordinance and immediate salvaging of the sunken ship.

The people remain unchanged in their stand that the regime's "enforcement ordinance" should be repealed.

At the end of the conference, more than 10 representatives including the chairperson of the April 16 Family Consultative Council marched toward Chongwadae to hand over the list of signatories to it.
