S. Korean Authorities' Human Rights Campaign against DPRK Accused by Swiss Organizations

Pyongyang, July 4 (KCNA) -- The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on June 24 lashing out at the south Korean puppet group for hosting the UN "office on human rights in the north" in Seoul, an anti-DPRK "human rights" machine.

The statement said:

The above-said office is aimed to cook up and spread misinformation about the DPRK and conduct a smear campaign against it.

The pro-U.S. puppet conservative authorities in south Korea are vociferating about non-existent "human rights issue" in the DPRK in a bid to mislead public attention while trampling down the freedom and rights of the people on the strength of the fascist "Security Law". This is the height of impudence and shame.

The establishment of the office is nothing but a base move to disturb the improvement of the north-south relations ardently desired by all Koreans.

We vehemently denounce the establishment of the office.

We extend full support and solidarity to all countermeasures taken by the DPRK.
