We were bitterly angered by the news that a UN "office on human rights in the north" was set up in south Korea under the pretext of non-existent "human rights issue" in the DPRK.

As a matter of fact, it is not the DPRK but south Korea where human rights are wantonly abused.

The south Korean regime should immediately close the office, guarantee south Koreans genuine human rights and stop at once all its provocations against the compatriots in the north.
