Foreign Crewmen Remember Kim Il Sung

Wonsan, July 4 (KCNA) -- Foreign crewmen met at Wonsan Port Saturday in commemoration of the 21st anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung. The participants laid bouquets before the statues of the President and leader Kim Jong Il in Wonsan City, Kangwon Province, and paid tribute to them. Present at the meeting were the captain and crewmen of Panama-flagged ship Sea Star 7. Speakers said the whole life of the President was the brilliant one of the peerlessly great man, who performed great feats for the country and its people, the times and history. The President defeated the U.S. and Japanese imperialists with his brilliant military idea, strategy and tactics in the anti-Japanese revolutionary war and the Fatherland Liberation War and won historic victories, they said, and went on: He shattered the imperialists' ambition for world domination and hegemonic moves and made contribution to protecting global peace and security by steering the trend of history in the 20th century to the road of independence. A letter to supreme leader Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting. |
