S. Koran Organization Slams Puppet Military Group for Shunning Troop Reduction

Pyongyang, July 6 (KCNA) -- The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification in south Korea held a press conference outside the building of the puppet Ministry of Defense in Seoul on July 1 in denunciation of the military group's belligerent action.

They denounced the ministry for putting forward the "draft amendment to a law on defense reform" the keynote of which is to put off the period of reduction of standing troops till 2030.

Recalling that this amendment calls for making the troops cutback 15 years later, speakers noted this is, in fact, little short of an intention not to carry out a drastic troops reduction, adding that this means completely repealing even the spurious "defense reform."

They urged the ministry to stop at once the moves to retrogressively revise the "law on defense reform".
