Present there were Choe Ryong Hae, secretary of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the youth league and the Union of Agricultural Workers, officials concerned, youth and students in Pyongyang City and agricultural workers in Sinchon County.

Young vanguard members held an oath-taking meeting before the statues of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill. They laid a floral basket and bunches of flowers before the statues and paid tribute to them.

Jon Yong Nam, chairman of the C.C., the youth league, read out a letter of pledge reflecting the strong faith and will of young vanguard.

The letter said that the President brought up young people to be the strong vanguard ranks of the revolution and reliable reserves of the party till the last moments of his great life and laid an eternal foundation guaranteeing the bright future of the country and the nation.

It is the greatest fortune and honor for the service personnel, people and youth of the DPRK to have lived and struggled, holding as the great father the leader of the people and the peerlessly great man who commanded absolute support and trust from the people for his outstanding idea, leadership and noble traits and glorified all annals of the revolution and construction with victory and glory, the letter noted.

It called for building the youth league organizations as militant and vibrant ranks and cementing it as the youth league of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and the youth organization of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

An oath-taking meeting took place at the Saegil Co-op Farm, Sinchon County, South Hwanghae Province. Ri Myong Gil, chairman of the C.C., the Union of Agricultural Workers, made a report to be followed by speeches.

They noted that the President was the great leader, the great revolutionary and the great human being who devoted his whole life to the country and the people.

They called for discharging the responsibility and role as the master of the agricultural field in the drive for building a thriving nation, the lifetime desire of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
