Involved there were huge combined forces including destroyers, escort craft, patrol craft, submarines and minesweepers of the First Fleet of the puppet Navy, more than 20 warships in all, helicopters, drones of the ground force and tactical planes of the air force.

The warmongers staged the madcap naval maneuvers to cope with various circumstances including an electronic war. They fanned up confrontation through fleet escort drill and operational drill for intercepting "enemy" ships.

During the period a joint drill for sustaining combat capability in a chemical warfare was staged at Tonghae Port.
