The collection, whose first volume was published on the 50th birthday of President Kim Il Sung, tells about the revolutionary activities he had conducted from Korea's liberation to the last moments of his life.

After the President passed away on July 8, Juche 83 (1994), more than 50 volumes of the book have been released, containing nearly 1 000 pieces of memoirs.

All of the memoirs deal with the noble personality of Kim Il Sung who always found himself among the popular masses.

They remind one of the lifelong activities he had conducted as a great revolutionary, peerless patriot and father of the nation.

The collection has been widely distributed in many countries, including China, Japan, the United States, the UK and Germany.
