In this regard, Ri Pyong Pha, department director of the Korea Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Committee, told KCNA:

The ardent yearning for the President is growing stronger among officials and employees of the committee, though 21 years have passed since his demise.

On this occasion, they have worked hard to bring Kimilsungia, the flower of the sun, into fuller bloom all over the country.

As part of the efforts, the committee completed the tissue culture of Kimilsungia based on its seed while focusing on the basic research into the flower. And it supplied a large number of its seedlings to every city, province and county.

Meanwhile, the committee has pushed ahead with the upgrading of Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia greenhouses in the country and the work to put the cultivation of Kimilsungia on a more scientific basis.
