Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- A Russian organ and a Nigerian body posted articles on their websites on July 1 to observe the 21st anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung. The Eastern Siberian Publishing House in Irkutsk Region of Russia in an article illustrated with a portrait of smiling President said that after embarking upon the road of revolution in his teens, he founded the Juche idea and the Songun idea, providing valuable ideological and theoretical wealth common to mankind. He liberated the country through a protracted anti-Japanese armed struggle and founded the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK, the article noted, and went on: He led the Fatherland Liberation War against the U.S. imperialists' and their allies' aggression to a victory, wisely led the post-war rehabilitation and construction and social revolution of various stages, turning the DPRK into a country centered on the popular masses and a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in defence. He also made undying contributions to the cause of Korea's reunification and the global cause of independence. He was, indeed, the most prominent leader representing the 20th century, a peerlessly great man and a great sage of mankind. The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in an article titled "Kim Il Sung, peerless strategist" praised him for defeating the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being the "strongest" in the world with his gifted military wisdom, original strategies and tactics and superb war methods. |
