Members of the solidarity headed for the U.S. embassy after leaving the Kwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul, holding a placard reading "GIs, quit south Korea, taking anthrax germs with them!" and chanting anti-U.S. slogans.

They scattered hundreds of leaflets containing the solidarity's declaration of July 4 actions and such slogans as "GIs, chief culprit of anthrax germ introduction and pressure for THAAD deployment, quit this land!"

When dozens of policemen guarding the embassy blocked their march, they went around the embassy to continue their actions.

Infuriated by the reckless repressive actions of the police, the solidarity held a meeting before the embassy, calling for achieving independence, peace and great national unity and demanding the anti-reunification regime step down.

Speakers there called for staging actions to oust the present regime and reunify the country by implementing the July 4 joint statement, June 15 joint declaration and October 4 declaration by the concerted efforts of all Koreans.

Chanting slogans, the participants marched toward the "government" building from the U.S. embassy.

There they held a ceremony for declaring a grand march for peace.

In the declaration of July 4 actions, the solidarity clarified its will to stage ceaseless protest actions against the U.S. and the anti-reunification regime on important occasions, not yielding to any threat and suppression.
