The July issue of the Bulgarian paper Iskra in an article titled "21st anniversary of demise of great leader" praised the President for building a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in defence.

The article dealt with the fact that the President set forth the three principles of national reunification, the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo and the 10-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation.

Iran News on July 1 in an article titled "Eternal sun of Juche" praised him as the most prominent leader representing the 20th century, a peerlessly great man and a great sage of mankind.

His idea and cause will be immortal, the article added.

The Myanmar paper The New Age on July 2 in an article titled "For global independence" lauded him for advancing the idea on global independence and making undying contributions to the human cause of independence through his energetic leadership.
