Huynh Ngoc Son said that he was pleased to note the Korean people have made development in various fields while overcoming difficulties caused by sanctions of hostile forces under the wise leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Noting that an in-depth discussion was made on the issues of boosting the bilateral relations, he said that the party, state and people of Vietnam expressed belief that the Korean people would greet the 70th anniversaries of Korea's liberation and the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea as great auspicious events.

Present there were An Tong Chun, vice-chairman of the Supreme People's Assembly, officials concerned and Vietnamese Ambassador to the DPRK Pham Viet Hung.
