The first secretary of the Nakhodka City Committee of the Maritime Territory of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said that the President was a prominent leader of the Korean people and elder statesman recognized by the world who devoted his all to the country's prosperity, people's happiness and national reunification to the last moments of his life.

The second secretary of the said city committee noted that though 21 years had passed since the President passed away, the Korean people are looking back upon his noble revolutionary career with boundless yearning as he devoted his all to the country's prosperity and people's happiness.

The chairman of the Al Hadi Islam Propaganda Organization of Iran praised the President as the greatest man who made a fresh history for the development of the friendly relations between Iran and the DPRK and made immortal contributions to the anti-imperialist, anti-U.S. struggle and the global cause of independence.
