The Lao defence minister said: The friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries forged and developed by President Kim Il Sung and Comrade Kim Jong Il and Comrade Kaysone Phomvihane, the preceding great leaders of the DPRK and Laos, are favorably developing under the deep care of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

He said the achievements made by the service personnel and people of the DPRK in socialist construction are a fruition of the wise guidance of the great leaders of the Korean people.

The Korean people are comrades-in-arms and brothers of the Lao people and Laos will always stand by the Korean people, he added.

Present there were Col. General No Kwang Chol, first vice-minister of the People's Armed Forces and other generals of the KPA and Phonekham Inthaboualy, Lao ambassador to the DPRK.
