Tha Win, member of the Central Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar and secretary of its Yangon Regional Committee, on July 6 said that the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) has been developed into the ever-victorious iron-willed party and the DPRK turned into the socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in defence under the wise leadership of the President. He went on:

I believe that the idea and cause of the President and leader Kim Jong Il will be surely realized under the wise guidance of HE Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the WPK and the DPRK.

The general director of a publishing house of Myanmar said on July 5 that he recollected with deep emotion the devoted life of the President who performed great exploits for the country and its people, the times and history.

The life of the President is the one of the most prominent great man and indomitable revolutionary in the 20th century, he said, adding:

Under the leadership of HE Kim Jong Un the Korean people are now honorably defending socialist Korea despite the persistent anti-DPRK moves of the hostile forces and achieving eye-opening successes in the efforts to build an economic power and improve the people's living standard.

I express firm support and solidarity with the Korean people in their just struggle to build a thriving nation and reunify the country.
