He went round the construction sites of gasification process, furnace and revolving furnace No. 4 of the Posan Iron Works at the complex to learn in detail about their construction and supply of materials.

A consultative meeting of officials concerned was held on the spot.

The meeting underscored the importance of the drive for putting the domestic fuel-based rolling process on a Juche basis and called on the relevant units to supply fire-proof materials and custom-built equipment in good time.

Earlier, the premier visited the Pyongyang Vegetable Science Institute, the Taedonggang Terrapin Factory and the Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm and called on them to devotedly implement the behests of leader Kim Jong Il and on-site instructions of Marshal Kim Jong Un and thus positively contribute to improving the people's living standard.

The premier also made field survey of production of building materials at various units, stressing the need to increase the proportion of locally available finishing building materials.
