Sinsollo, Traditional Korean Dish

| Pyongyang, July 13 (KCNA) -- Sinsollo is one of the traditional Korean dishes, cooked along with flesh-meat, seafood, vegetable, edible herb, fruit and other foods. It is listed as a national intangible heritage in the DPRK. According to Associate Prof. Ri Hyang Suk of Pyongyang Jang Chol Gu University of Commerce, Sinsollo is the name of the pot used for boiling the dish. The dish is believed to be highly nutritious because its foodstuff includes songi mushroom, trepang and pine nuts in particular. |
