S. Korean Organization Opposes U.S. Moves to Deploy THAAD

Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) -- The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification in south Korea held a press conference in Seoul on July 10 as part of peace action which started on July 9 to oppose the U.S. moves to deploy THAAD, according to the south Korean internet paper Thongil News.

The deployment of THAAD was prompted by a politically-motivated purpose of the U.S. and Japan to bind south Korea to their alliance forever, the organization said.

It urged the authorities to immediately clarify their stand against the deployment of THAAD in south Korea.
