The conference will bring together anti-Japanese war veterans and war veterans who displayed matchless heroism and self-sacrificing spirit in the great Fatherland Liberation War, merited people in wartime, former unconverted long-term prisoners and veterans who performed feats in the showdown with the U.S. and the struggle for protecting socialism in the post-war period.

Preparatory work is being stepped up under the care of the party and state.
