S. Korean Organization Denounces Puppet Group's Suppression

Pyongyang, July 20 (KCNA) -- It was disclosed that the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency investigated the financial status of the Taegu-North Kyongsang Provincial Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration which sponsored reunification lectures given by Sin Un Mi, a Korean professor in the U.S., and Hwang Son, representative of the south Korean Forum for the Study of Politics Desired, under the pretext of looking into them.

The puppet police investigated the financial activities of the headquarters and the work done by it in 2014 and informed it of the fact recently six months later.

And the police stretched the tentacles of suppression even to those organizations and individual persons that had dealings with the headquarters.

The headquarters released a statement on July 7 in protest against the suppression.

The statement urged the prosecution and police to apologize to the persons concerned and organizations for the human rights abuses.
