The TV reported:

The President wisely led the DPRK for several decades.

The liberation of Korea, victory in the fierce war fought against the U.S. imperialists and building of a powerful socialist state that rose from debris are all ascribable to his wise leadership.

His demise was the most profound sorrow to the Korean people.

Guinean state, international and seven national languages broadcasting services said that the Korean people and world progressives recollected with deep emotion the life of the President who performed exploits on behalf of the times and history with his outstanding idea and theories and through his dynamic revolutionary activities.

He was the most prominent leader, peerlessly great man and great sage of humankind in the 20th century, the broadcasting services noted, adding that though he passed away, his idea and cause are being steadily carried forward.
