S. Korean Organization Calls for Return of U.S. Forces' Base

| Pyongyang, July 24 (KCNA) -- The All-Citizens Measure Committee for Redeployment of U.S. Forces in Tongduchon City of south Korea sent an open questionnaire to the puppet minister of Defense on July 20. At the end of October, 2014, the puppet authorities agreed with the U.S. to leave the 210 firepower brigade under the U.S. second division in Tongduchon City, Kyonggi Province as it is. The puppet authorities' decision to indefinitely extend the transfer of OPECON provided for the indefinite presence of the brigade there. Tongduchon citizens staged an action to recover their cradle while strongly protesting against the unilateral step taken by the authorities without an agreement with region inhabitants. The questionnaire urged the military authorities to clearly respond to the demand of the people. |
