Displayed at the venue of the lecture were photos dealing with the feats President Kim Il Sung performed by leading the war to victory.

Participants of the film show watched Korean film "Arms of Korea."

The chairman of the Karelia-DPRK Friendship Association of Russia said in a speech that the President was an invincible and iron-willed commander and gifted strategist who led the Fatherland Liberation War to shining victory.

The chairman of the Korean Friendship Association UK in his report noted that July 27 marks the 62nd anniversary of the historic victory won by the Korean army and people in the Fatherland Liberation War against the U.S. imperialists under the guidance of the President.

Always finding himself among service personnel and people, the President instilled conviction in victory into them and prevailed over the numerical and technical advantages of the enemy with his original strategies, tactics and war methods, he stressed, adding:
