S. Korean Authorities Slammed for Forcibly Detaining DPRK Residents

Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Korean Friendship Association UK issued a joint statement on July 23 in denunciation of the south Korean authorities for forcibly detaining DPRK residents.

The statement said that five crewmen of DPRK went unexpectedly adrift toward the area of the south side due to engine trouble and demanded them be sent back to DPRK.

It went on:

But the south Korean puppet forces forcibly detained three of them and even declined their demand to meet their family members.

It is a crude violation of the DPRK's sovereignty and the right of its citizens as well as another heinous provocation against it.

The south Korean puppet authorities made foolish calculation to use the accident for defaming the image of the DPRK.

We strongly demand the south Korean puppet authorities unconditionally send those forcibly detained residents of the DPRK back to where their parents and families wait.
