KCTU Calls for Struggling for Peace

| Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) made public a statement titled "Let us advance toward putting end to war state between the north and the U.S. and concluding peace agreement on the Korean peninsula" on July 27. The 1953 Armistice Agreement led to a ceasefire on the peninsula but peace agreement has not been signed, the statement said. The Korean peninsula needs a conclusion of peace agreement, not anthrax germ and THAAD, it noted. KCTU will wage positive actions for peace through the conclusion of peace agreement, it stressed. |
