S. Korean Body Calls for Achieving Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Nation

Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- The Taejon Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration held a press conference before the Taejon City Office building on July 27, calling for pulling the U.S. forces out of south Korea and achieving independent and peaceful reunification of the nation, according to the south Korean internet paper Thongil News.

Speakers said that the U.S. is reinforcing military capabilities on the Korean peninsula and working hard to tighten military alliance with Japan and repeat the history of aggression.

As for the case of the introduction of anthrax germs into south Korea the U.S. is moving to distort the truth about it, far from making an apology, and the present "government" is working to connive at it, far from probing the truth, they deplored.

They called for putting an end to the state of cease-fire and concluding a peace agreement at an early date for the existence and prosperity of the Korean nation.
