When the participants of the conference arrived at the venues of the meetings, youth and students warmly welcomed them.

Participants said in their speeches that there are many countries and each of them have war veterans but it is only war veterans in the DPRK who are held up as the generation dedicated to the revolution and respected by the people.

They told stories about the exploits they performed by winning victories in the battles to defend the country from the U.S. imperialist aggressors, true to the leadership of President Kim Il Sung.

They ardently appealed to the youth and students to turn out in the confrontation with imperialism and the U.S. in a do-or-die spirit and build a thriving reunified country on this land.

Youth and students renewed their determinations to bring about July 27, the day of the final victory, without fail by giving fullest play to the spirit and might of the Korean youth and dynamism of a youthful power.
