Ristiyanto, secretary general of the National Guidance Council of the Pioneer Party of Indonesia, said this in a statement on Monday, the 62nd anniversary of the victory of the Korean people in the great Fatherland Liberation War.

He went on:

The world remembers the shameful history in which the U.S. ignited a war against the young Democratic People's Republic of Korea only to fall on its knees before the heroic Korean people and sign the Armistice Agreement.

Many years have passed and one generation was replaced by the other several times but the victorious July 27 deeply reminds one of the truth of history that the just cause for defending the sovereignty and happiness of the country and people is sure to win.

But the U.S. and other hostile forces are straining the situation on the Korean peninsula extremely by staging joint military maneuvers under various codenames, being oblivious of the bitter defeat they sustained in the past Korean war.

We strongly demand the U.S. immediately withdraw lethal equipment and aggression troops from south Korea.
