They were held in South Phyongan, North Hwanghae, Jagang, Kangwon and Ryanggang provinces and Nampho City on Sunday.

Present there were officials of local party, power and economic bodies, working people's organizations, people from all walks of life and youth and students.

The appeal was read out at the meetings and speeches were made by representatives of workers, agricultural workers and youth and students to vow their pledges.

The speakers said that they will fully demonstrate the heroic spirit and mettle of the Korean people in the general offensive for final victory in confrontation with the U.S. and the building of a thriving nation by inheriting the same gem-like single-minded loyalty and revolutionary faith which one would not abandon though one may die and noble spirit of defending the country displayed by war veterans.

They called for devotedly protecting the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and creating miracles and innovations in production and construction, being firmly convinced that national reunification and thriving nation will surely come true under the guidance of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

They underscored the need to create a heroic epic in the great Kim Jong Un's era and a myth of new victory of Songun Korea by carrying forward the tradition in which the former generations won only victories in rigorous annals.
