The participants heard valuable papers presented by the Technical Preparation Center of the Management Bureau for the Shoe-making Industry, the Wonsan Shoes Factory, the Sinuiju Shoes Factory and various other units.

Introduced there were successes and experience gained in improving the quality of shoes, true to the intention of the Party to increase the varieties of shoes and put their production on a diverse and multi-color basis and updating production processes.

A series of papers were highly appreciated.

The presentation also involved a lecture on the latest trend in the development of footwear industry and scientific and technological issues of raising the quality of shoes and their competitiveness and increasing the proportion of locally available raw and other materials and equipment.
