Anniversary of Korea's Liberation Observed by Organization of DR Congo
Pyongyang, August 8 (KCNA) -- The National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of DR Congo released a bulletin titled "Lesson drawn from Second World War and peace on Korean peninsula" on August 2 to observe the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

It is 70 years since the end of the Second World War, the cruelest and fiercest in the world history of wars, but the imperialists are still keen on high-handed and arbitrary practices in the international arena in a bid to realize their wild ambition for dominating the world, the bulletin said, and went on:

The world public is unanimous in predicting that a new world war would break out on the Korean peninsula where interests of powers are intermingled and military tension remains the highest.

That is why it is the most important for preventing a new world war to ensure durable peace on the peninsula.

The U.S. is the very harasser of peace and security on the peninsula.

It is a well-known fact that the U.S. has long worked hard to ignite the third world war by invading the DPRK, regarding the peninsula as a springboard for invading Asia.

This is an open threat to the DPRK and a challenge to peace on the peninsula.

The danger of a war will increase on the peninsula as long as the U.S. persists in its reckless moves for aggression to stifle the DPRK.
