Present at the reception were Kim Yong Jin, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Kim Yong Hun, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, Ri Jong Mu, general of the Korean People's Army, officials concerned, players and coaches who participated in the championships and their families.

Kim Yong Jin made a speech at the reception to be followed by reply speech of Kim Kuk Hyang.
