The bulletin in an article titled "Korea's liberation, turning point in history" said August 15, 1945 was the day of a historical turning point for the Korean people.

As the country was liberated, the Korean people could lead an independent and dignified life as masters of their destiny and full-fledged masters of the state and society free from the colonial slavery of the Japanese imperialists, the article said, and went on:

The DPRK, the first people's democratic state in the East, was founded at last.

A unique socialist system centered on the popular masses, an invincible socialist state, was established in Korea.

The DPRK is admired by the world community as it has firmly upheld its ideology, social system and cause without making any slightest deviation from the road of socialism, its own choice.
