S. Korean Buddhist Organizations Demand Authorities' Lifting of Measure for Confrontation

Pyongyang, August 9 (KCNA) -- The south Korean joint conference of Buddhist organizations for preparing for events marking 70th anniversary of August 15 liberation on August 6 demanded the puppet regime lift the "May 24 measure" and opt for mending the inter-Korean relations, according to the south Korean Yonhap News.

The organization held that the measure is an actual and institutional hurdle lying in the way of dialogue, exchange and cooperation between the south and the north.

It demanded the "government" take practical measures for improving the inter-Korean relations such as lifting the said measure.
