Kim Yong Nam Meets Heads of State, Government of Various Countries

Cairo, August 9 (KCNA Correspondent) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, separately met Faure Essozimna Gnassingbe, president of Togo, Mahamadou Issoufou, president of Niger, Dmitri Anatoliyevich Medvedev, prime minister of Russia, and Ibrahim Mahlab, prime minister of Egypt, during his visit to Egypt to take part in the opening ceremony of the new Suez Canal. The Togolese president said he is always remembering the most valuable aid and support rendered by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il to Togo, highly praising them for strengthening the non-aligned movement. Rosy is the future of the DPRK led by Marshal Kim Jong Un, he said, expressing his will to make positive efforts for the development of the friendly relations between the two countries. The Niger president extended congratulations to Kim Jong Un on his efforts made to develop the Workers' Party of Korea into a powerful party, expressing his will to closely cooperate with the DPRK in international issues and the non-aligned movement. The Russian prime minister said that the DPRK is a strong country as it is standing firm against the U.S. moves to isolate and stifle it, sincerely hoping that everything would go well in the DPRK under the guidance of Kim Jong Un. The prime minister of Egypt expressed thanks to close Korean friends for taking part in the opening ceremony of the new Suez Canal to congratulate the Egyptian people and share joy with them. Highly appreciating the DPRK for always supporting Egypt, the prime minister sincerely wished the Korean people greater progress and development in all fields under the wise guidance of Kim Jong Un. |
