The Brazilian Committee for Solidarity with the DPRK posted an article titled "Special event in history of Korean nation" illustrated with a photo of President Kim Il Sung.

The article said that Korea's liberation seven decades ago was an event to be specially recorded in the history of the Korean nation and that this helped the Korean people greet the new day of national rebirth and the start of new history of socialist Korea.

Under the leadership of the President the Korean people successfully carried out land reform, nationalization of major industries and other democratic reforms and founded the DPRK, the first people's democratic state in the East, the article noted, adding:

In the Korean war they defeated the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being the "strongest" in the world for the first time in history. They conducted postwar rehabilitation and construction and performed social revolutions of several stages, building a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in defence.

Now the DPRK rose to the highest level in its development and national power.

The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in an article titled "Songun leadership and Korea's liberation" introduced the undying exploits the President performed by advancing the line of liberating Korea on the basis of the Juche idea, Songun idea and leading the anti-Japanese armed struggle to victory and thus achieving the historic cause of the country's liberation.
