The chairman of the Communist Party of Tajikistan said August 15, 1945 was the day when Korea was freed from the occupation by the Japanese imperialists and that President Kim Il Sung presented the liberated country to the Korean people by leading the arduous anti-Japanese revolutionary war to victory.

The chairman of the Anti-Imperialist Forum of Germany said that the U.S. which occupied south Korea under the mask of "liberator" in the wake of the Second World War provoked the Korean War in 1950 but it could not but sustain defeat by the Korean people who were firmly united behind the President.

The chief of a branch of the Ethiopian National Committee said that the President embarked on the road of the struggle for the country and the nation and defeated burglar-like Japanese imperialists with his matchless courage and grit, diversified strategy and tactics and war methods.

He noted that the exploits performed by the President who achieved the country's liberation through his Songun revolutionary leadership will shine long in the world history of the struggle for the national liberation.
