Present there on invitation were Kim Sung Du, chairman of the Education Commission, Sin Hong Chol, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Sim Kuk Ryong, director general of the General Bureau for Affairs with Diplomatic Corps and other officials concerned.

On hand there were a delegation of the Syrian Arab-Korea Friendship Association headed by Chairman Fairouz Al-Mousa, member of the Regional Leadership of the Syria's Baath Arab Socialist Party and director of the Higher Education Department of the party, and staff members of the Syrian embassy.
