Swiss Organizations Praise Feats of Kim Il Sung

Pyongyang, August 14 (KCNA) -- President Kim Il Sung was the great benefactor who liberated the country and provided the Korean people with genuine freedom and happiness in the 20th century and Marshal Kim Jong Un is the peerlessly great man who will reunify the country and provide the Korean people with a reunified powerful state in the 21st century.

The Swiss preparatory committee for celebrating the 70th anniversaries of the Workers' Party of Korea and Korea's liberation, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on Aug. 3 on the occasion of August 15, Korea's liberation anniversary.

The President liberated the country from the colonial rule of the Japanese imperialists on Aug. 15, 1945, the statement said, and went on:

The Korean people are highly praising the President as the heaven-sent great man, benefactor of the liberation and hero of the nation.

The long history of the DPRK has been recorded as the epic of proud victory in which socialism, where popular masses are masters of their destinies, was built.
