The crinkly-roofed ice rink has a plottage of 6 469 square meters.

According to its chief engineer Ji Tong Il, more than 200 citizens per hour enjoy themselves at the rink everyday and they include children and aged persons.

The employees of the rink have striven to improve their service for visitors, Ji said.

Jong Pom Hui, a student of Kim Chaek University of Technology, told KCNA that she learned how to skate by frequenting the ice rink.
