South Koreans Call for Peace and Reunification on Korean Peninsula

Pyongyang, August 14 (KCNA) -- The vanguard for reunification of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and the 2015 Youth March Group for Reunification have launched actions calling for achieving peace and reunification on the Korean peninsula across south Korea including Seoul, Taejon, Taegu, Kunsan and Jonju of North Jolla Province and Phyongthaek of Kyonggi Province.

They held a kick-off ceremony outside the U.S. embassy in Seoul on August 10.

The speakers at the ceremony said the Park Geun Hye regime is wholly to blame for the abortive joint national event for marking the 15th anniversary of the June 15 joint declaration.

They censured the regime for failing to protest against GIs hell-bent on germ weapon experiments after illegally introducing anthrax germs into south Korea.

They declared that they would stage actions in various parts of south Korea protesting the U.S. and demanding thorough probe into the truth, withdrawal of germ warfare unit and apology of the U.S. president.

Then the 2015 Youth March Group for Reunification held a ceremony demanding the U.S. president's apology for the anthrax germ experiments by the U.S. forces.

At the end of the ceremony they marched as far as the Japanese embassy in Seoul.

In front of the embassy they held a rally, denouncing Japan for distorting history and reviving militarism.
