Present there on invitation were Vice Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov and personages of political parties, government ministries, institutions and organizations of Russia. They included the United Russia Party, Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Liberal Democratic Party, "A Just Russia", Party for Peace and Unity, the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks, Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Development of Far East, Ministry of Economy and Development, Ministry of Extraordinary Situation, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Culture, Federal Emigration Bureau, Gazprom Company, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Academy of Sciences, Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, Orchestra of the 21st Century, Moscow Veterans' Committee and the United Confederation of Koreans in Russia.

Present there were DPRK Ambassador to Russia Kim Hyong Jun and his embassy officials.

The participants laid a floral basket and bunches of flowers before the full-length picture of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.

They looked round photos dealing with feats of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un, DPRK books and handcrafts and stamps.

The vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia said that he recollected the heroic feats of the soldiers of the Soviet Union and patriots of Korea who dedicated their lives to the freedom and independence of Korea on the occasion of the anniversary of Korea's liberation.

He went on:

The Russian and Korean peoples are steadily developing the bonds of friendship, good neighborliness and cooperation.

The two countries achieved significant successes in various fields and huge experiences of cooperation.

The recent bilateral contacts held at various levels showed that there is great potentiality for developing mutual cooperation from a fresh angle.

We will act together with the DPRK to give full play to it.
