Displayed at the venue of the meeting were works of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and books introducing Songun Korea.

Present at the meeting were V. A. Petrov, chairman of the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK who doubles as chairman of the Russian preparatory committee for celebrating the 70th anniversaries of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea and the liberation of Korea, other Russian public figures and masses.

Invited there were the DPRK ambassador and staff members of his embassy in Moscow.

The reporter and speakers referred to the fact that the President led the Korean people's heroic struggle against the Japanese imperialists and liberated Korea.

Friendship between the peoples of both countries was forged and deepened to be unbreakable through the joint struggle against imperialism, they noted.

They praised the Korean people for building an invincible socialist power prospering despite the imperialists' harassment under the leadership of the President and Kim Jong Il.

The people of the DPRK kept dynamically advancing along the road of independence of their own choice full of confidence and optimism under the guidance of Kim Jong Un, they said, adding that the Russian friends sincerely hoped for successes in the friendly DPRK in the future too.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
