S. Korean Body Censures Japanese Authorities for Embellishing War Crimes and Denying History

Pyongyang, August 18 (KCNA) -- The Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea released an article on August 14 in denunciation of the shameless attitude of the Japanese authorities denying the past crimes till now, 70 years since Japan's defeat.

The article accused Japanese Prime Minister Abe for avoiding the blame of the Japanese government for the past crimes at his statement published on the 70th anniversary of Japan's defeat.

Abe did not refer to the illegal colonial rule over Korea but made an excuse that Japan was compelled to take the road of war, sparking off astonishment, the article charged.

The Japanese government is not entitled to talk about peace any longer as it has no willingness to make victims of sexual slavery stop weeping, it stressed.
