A kick-off ceremony took place before the Monument to the Victorious Battle of Pochonbo in Hyesan, Ryanggang Province on Tuesday.

The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before the statue of President Kim Il Sung at the monument.

Kim Myong Ok, vice-chairwoman of the C.C., the union, made a report at the ceremony to be followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers underlined the need to deeply grasp through the study tour the revolutionary feats Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il performed by providing and glorifying forever the revolutionary traditions of Juche.

They called for learning from the spirit of devotedly defending the leader displayed by the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters and becoming the ardent women revolutionaries remaining unfailingly loyal to Marshal Kim Jong Un.

They stressed the need to give fullest play to the high spiritual world and noble traits of the women in the Songun era during the study tour.

After the ceremony the participants headed for Pochonbo.
