According to Director Pak Myong Il, the station has recently raised the production of fry, including silver carp, Aristichythys nobilis and grass carp, three times as compared with the same period of last year by introducing advanced techniques.

While deepening researches into the breeding of herbivorous fish, the station released millions of fry into Taedong and Pothong rivers in the capital city of Pyongyang.
